Love is in the air! It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and we thought it would be great idea to make sure Cupid has the proper insurance coverage that he needs. Especially since the day after his busiest day of the year is the Open Enrollment deadline for federally approved health insurance. Just to make sure we’re all on the same page, that day would be February 15th! But enough about that, Cupid is in need of proper insurance in order to get ready for his big day. Be on the lookout for arrows!
The first insurance that Cupid would need to have is health insurance. Cupid can’t afford to get sick and be out of commission with the flu going around, especially during his busiest time of the year. In the unfortunate event he does get sick, or has a medical issue, having health insurance will allow him to see a doctor and get the proper treatment to get him back on his feet (or wings) quickly, and get back to being everyone’s favorite matchmaker.
In order for Cupid to work his magic around the world, it’s important for him to have a good travel insurance plan. There is a lot of work to be done for that one little person, and that includes a lot of flying and traveling in order to get around to everyone. Who knows, he could have to travel to several countries in one day, probably around the whole world on February 14th. So he would need to have good coverage no matter where he goes.
“Why would Cupid need life insurance? It’s not like he’s taken the time to settle down and start a family of his own, he’s too busy helping others fall in love and settle down.” That may be true, but in the event that he gets shot with one of his own arrows and falls in love, he can already be prepared with good coverage. After all, you never know what will happen. Oh, and also the younger you are the better chance that your premiums will be less expensive.
The business of falling in love can have its ups and downs. On the off chance that Cupid may have gotten it wrong, he needs his business to be protected from lawsuits, injuries, and defamation from angry clients. He wouldn’t need to worry about other workers injuring themselves on the job because he is a one man (or boy) show. But even without a workforce, his business needs to be protected.
